Rachael Frazier

An eighteen-year veteran Aesthetic Nurse who recently graduated from a nurse practitioner program.

Rachael graduated Baptist Medical System’s School of Registered Nursing in 1995. Her first job was on a medical/pediatric floor in Northwest Florida. After 4 months of working as the charge nurse, she transferred to the Emergency Department (ED). Rachael worked as a staff nurse, charge nurse and then rose to the rank of Clinical Coordinator for the ED. As the Clinical Coordinator , she served on the guest relations committee. She was an advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) instructor for the hospital, won Nurse of the Year in 1999 and became a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), setting a standard of excellence for nurses in that specialty.  She implemented a sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) program to improve the quality of evidence collected, crisis care and resource management for assault victims. Rachael traveled to Asheville, North Carolina. While in Asheville Rachael found her calling as a trauma nurse and worked at Mission Hospital Systems. Rachael was a trauma nurse preceptor as well as a staff nurse.

Her husband’s military transfer brought Rachael to Northern California in 2006. Rachael went to work for Dignity Health in the ED at Mercy San Juan Medical Center and obtained her Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) certification through the county. While exploring other options she found an opportunity in the emerging field of aesthetics in 2007 at The Plastic Surgery Center (TPSC). Rachael quickly grew her patient following by learning innovative techniques and taking exceptional care of the people she sees. That part-time job turned into full-time causing her to eventually give up the ED, but she has never looked back. While at TPSC, she was involved in television broadcasts of new aesthetic procedures including  KCRA3, FOX 40 and Good Day Sacramento. She served on two Allergan advisory boards and was an injection trainer for Medicis Aesthetics. Rachael helped educate and recruit qualified nurses and estheticians, developed treatment protocols and cultivated exponential growth, all while keeping a full clinical schedule. She went on to complete her Masters degree in the Science of Nursing with a focus in Case Management in 2014, the same year her twins were born. While deciding she wanted to get back to a boutique medical office she went on to join Dr. Granger Wong, the Chief of Plastic Surgery for UCD, in his private plastic surgery practice in 2020. Her desire to spread her knowledge and share her techniques landed her a position as a trainer for Galderma Pharmaceutical company. She is proud to be called a GAIN trainer all these years later. During her time with Dr. Wong, she was inspired to further her education and training as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She graduated from Spring Arbor University’s PMC Nurse Practitioner program in December of 2024 with a focus in adult/gerontology. This training and her previous experiences culminated into her desire to open her own practice. Focusing on women and men and the aging effects on the face and body is a passion of Rachaels.  Education and safety are paramount for Rachael. She continues to learn and evolve her injection techniques. Her emphasis on enhancing individual facial features without distortion has made her a sought after injector and laser nurse.
